INSTALLATION

There are two main installation methods for sloped sites: stepped and raked, each suited to different ground conditions and finish preferences.

Stepped Installation

Stepped installation is the most common method for sloped sites. The fence panels are installed in horizontal sections, creating a stepped appearance that follows the ground level change.

This method is cost-effective, easy to install, and works well for moderate to steep slopes. However, small gaps may appear underneath each step, which may require additional infill if privacy or pet containment is a concern.

Raked Installation

Raked installation follows the natural slope of the land, with the fence panels angled to match the gradient. This creates a smooth, continuous fence line with minimal gaps at the bottom.

It provides a cleaner and more premium look, making it ideal for visible areas or front boundaries. Raked fencing may require additional adjustments such as sleepers or custom fitting, depending on the site conditions.
